Travel Passport Assistance
Passports are the universal accepted identification document for travellers to be admitted to any country. Accordingly, there are a lot of travel agencies that offer assistance in obtaining a passport. When visiting the UK, as most other nations, a valid passport is required. The United Kingdom requires a 10 year validity of passports to enter other nations. Issuing of passports can take only two weeks to complete. However, depending on the time of year, the application process could take up to a month.

The two types of application forms which are available in the Post Office are:
- Form A- for first time applicants
- Form R- is for renewal of passports or those that have been lost or stolen.
There is also a helpful little service which is called “Passport Application Service” in which an individual’s filled up form is checked thoroughly by a counter clerk. This is to ensure that everything is complete and correctly filled.
When travelling to other countries, it is wise to have two photocopies of your passport. Bring the first copy with you at all times with the original. Leave the other copy behind. In the event that your passport gets lost or stolen, report it immediately to the nearest British Embassy.
